Bioeconomy is an indispensable part of the world’s economy, providing resources including nutrients, food, textiles, energy sources, etc. Circular bioeconomy is therefore essential for the circular transition. International cooperation is crucial in this aspect as it facilitates knowledge and technology exchange, consequently enabling an effective and timely circular transportation and green transition.

Canada already entered the path of optimizing the economic value of its abundant natural capital. As the world moves toward a circular economy, forward-thinking Canadian firms are developing technologies and solutions that recover value – including energy and other products – from wastewater. Canada is also a world leader in the development of advanced water and wastewater technologies. Canada has a strong global niche in global disinfection technologies, wastewater reuse with membrane filtration and UV disinfection systems, and strengths in leak detection; biological treatment and biosolids management systems; pump, gate and valve design; energy recovery systems, and; instrumentation and monitoring.

On behalf of the Embassy of Canada and the INNOWO Institute we would like to invite you to join the webinar “Circular bioeconomy as a key driver for circular economy transformation and green transition” event on October 6, 2022 3:00-5:00 PM CEST.

During the seminar the launch of the “Polish bioeconomy circular development – Canadian business opportunities” report will take place. In the second part of the event, best practices and practical solutions in water and wastewater management from the Canadian cleantech sector will be presented.

The event aims to share insights and best practices on how we can help to design and build circular bioeconomy transformation using experiences and best practices from Canada. Join us on the path to circular bioeconomy!
