Plant production requires very high energy expenditure. The responsible use of resources not only reduces the negative impact on climate change, but also brings concrete savings to individual companies. During the meeting, practical solutions will be presented, which will help in a real way to make production under cover more sustainable.

Kas als energiebron is a project aiming at reducing energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions in greenhouses. Thanks to the cooperation between owners, suppliers, research institutions and government, effective, innovative solutions for sustainable energy use are implemented.

AllElectric – a greenhouse that was commissioned by the Dutch government in Wageningen, where ways to reduce heat loss and optimize the use of different types of energy are being studied.

Ter Laak Orchids – a greenhouse that gets energy from the sun while heating the water needed to maintain the right temperature for orchids production.
